Alternatives
I see a lot of Soccer parents asking questions on Facebook forums about their use soccer player
Something I’ve noticed is they usually get a wide range of responses that are obviously based on just one person experience and often snarky
This is a chance to sit down and have a chat with somebody who has been through the process And can share their experiences
Why players are not parents?
Parents might give you all the reasons that they made decisions, but this is your players chance to get a perspective from how a player experienced it and what they thought
The parent drives the carpool and pays the fees, but the player is the one who is on the field and deals with the coach and the teammates and the opposition
The best way to learn is by making mistakes these players made mistakes recently and have lessons learned they can share
These are players that have had success in their Soccer careers.
How does your player make decisions that will get them more minutes on the field? More playing = more fun
These kids have had success in soccer and they get asked a lot by other players by younger players and other families for advice
If you are a parent of a 5/6/7/8 grader who plays soccer and is looking for help improving then this is for you

He was from a soccer family, his dad was a college coach at UMKC and now he is the coach at Grand Canyon University
He went on to play college soccer
The kids definitely benefited from his technical training, but also from asking him lots of questions and from Motivation working with him and hearing about his
